Oxbridge Entry Requirements

Most undergraduate applications to UK universities are submitted through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Create an account on the UCAS website and complete the application form, providing personal details, academic qualifications, and a personal statement.
Select up to five courses at different universities, ensuring they have similar entry requirements. You can apply for different courses at the same university or similar courses at different universities.
Write a personal statement highlighting your academic achievements, extracurricular activities, career aspirations, and reasons for applying to each course. Tailor your personal statement to each university and course you apply to.
It's the chance to show your passion and how understanding of your chosen subject.
The length of your personal statement is limited to 4000 characters / 47 lines, or roughly 600 words. Do not go over the character limit for your personal statement as UCAS will not be able to process this.
Provide details of one or more referees who can provide a reference in support of your application. Referees are typically teachers, tutors, or employers who are familiar with your academic or professional abilities and commitment.
Complete all sections of the UCAS application, including personal details, course choices, personal statement, and reference. Pay the application fee and submit your application before the deadline.
Some courses and universities may require applicants to take admissions tests or attend interviews as part of the selection process. Prepare for any required tests or interviews accordingly.
For example, Oxbridge interview is conducted like a verbal test. In these tests, the interviewer is assessing your academic potential and your passion for your chosen course.
After submitting your application, you will receive offers from universities. Offers may be unconditional (guaranteed) or conditional (based on achieving certain grades or requirements).
Once you receive offers, you can accept or decline them through the UCAS website. If you receive multiple offers, you must choose a firm (first choice) and insurance (backup) choice by the deadline.
If you receive conditional offers, work towards meeting the conditions specified by the universities, such as achieving certain grades in your final exams.
Once you meet the conditions of your offers, your place at the chosen university is confirmed. You will receive further instructions regarding enrollment, accommodation, and other administrative procedures.
International students may need to apply for a student visa to study in the UK. Follow the visa application process provided by the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) agency.

Oxford University requires applicants to take subject-specfic admissions tests in addition to meeting acedemic qualifications.
Most subjects will require students to sit a written test which assess candidates' aptitude, critical thinking skills, and potential to succeed in their chosen field of study.
Interviews at Cambridge normally take place in one college. Often on a single day. Oxford applicants will usually stay for at least a couple of days and may be interviewed at multiple colleges.
If you can’t decide on a college, you can make an open application. A computer program will allocate your application to a college for you. Once allocated, your application is treated exactly like any other.
