About me

My name is Millie Chisholm and I am about to go into my final year studying Law at the University of Cambridge. Regarding my academic qualifications, I have 9 A*/A GCSEs and achieved A*A*A* in all 3 of my A Levels (English Literature, History and Government Politics). During my A Levels, I was awarded the position of “Leader of Learning” at my College in both History and English Literature as I achieved the highest mark out of my cohort of 600 students in these subjects. This meant that I was given the task of tutoring AS students (year below students) in improving their exam technique and helping them to improve their grades. I therefore have experience in tutoring classes of students and cannot wait to use my experience in a positive way with Tutor Impact UK. My teaching experience also includes spending 2 ½ weeks in Guangzhou, China teaching my degree discipline, Law, to Chinese students aged 10-14. This was a challenging, new environment but a thoroughly enjoyable experience in which I introduced students to an area of studying they had never learnt about before.
