Isabel studied at the University of Cambridge before completing her Masters in Musicology at the University of Oxford, graduating with Distinction. She has taught Music to everyone from Oxford undergraduates to four-year-old violin beginners. This has included instrumental tuition (violin and piano), preparing for GCSE and A-level, preparing for music theory exams, and university application. In addition, Isabel has gained experience teaching English, English as a Foreign Language and Mathematics, as well as preparing students for the 11+ entrance examinations. She has had students from countries including China and Ukraine, with much of this teaching taking place online. Isabel enjoys encouraging students to think for themselves and building their confidence and creativity. When not teaching, Isabel continues to perform and compose music. She also enjoys going to the gym and being outside in nature.
